Which plan applies in Amaravati today

Amaravati capital city is governed by the Capital City Master Plan and the Amaravati Zoning Regulations 2016, prepared by APCRDA under the APCRDA Act 2014. The Amaravati Government Complex also has its own 2024 master plan and zoning regulations. Buildings must meet the AP Building Rules 2017, which have been amended many times, most recently in December 2025. APCRDA grants development permission within the capital region through the state's online development permission system (APDPMS).
